Loud cheers at the DLP Swimming Gala

We recently held our annual DLP Primary School Swimming Gala at Dawlish Leisure Centre.
The noise was incredible as five of our Primary Schools – Kenn, Kenton, Cockwood, Starcross and Westcliff took part in this year’s Primary Gala. The teams of 12 swimmers from each school all did really well!

Cockwood prepare adverts for London tourist attractions

Class 1 at Cockwood Primary School have been busy writing and creating their own 30 second video adverts to promote an attraction in London.
This is in preparation of their forthcoming residential in June.
The children worked in mixed age and ability groups to meet criteria and had just 4 mornings to organise…

World Book Day at Cockwood

Children from Cockwood Primary School sing at museum opening

Cockwood Primary School Choir were invited to sing at the re-opening ceremony of the Dawlish Museum.
