DLP Executive Group
Meetings of Dawlish Learning Partnership Executive Group are held each half term. The Executive Group consists of a small group of Primary School Headteachers and the Community College Principal.
Starcross Primary School – Iannis Ireland, Headteacher (Chair)
Dawlish Community College – Andrew Davis, Principal (Vice Chair)
Kenton Primary School – Amanda Somerwill, Headteacher (Vice Chair)
Westcliff Primary School – Barbara Capper, Headteacher (Vice Chair)
Under the proposed School Company arrangements the current DLP Executive Group will become Executive Directors of the School Company.
Role. Executive Directors will be responsible for implementing the DLP Development Plan..
Representation.
- Four Executive Directors representing Small Primary, Large Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
- One Independent Executive Director who will be a School Governor. The School Governor will be selected on their ability to support the effective working of the School Company and facilitate communication with individual School Governing bodies.
Frequency of meetings. It will meet each half term.
Period of office
Executive Directors will be appointed for a period of 12 months. They may be re-elected at the end of this period but we would normally expect a rolling programme of change to enable development opportunities to take place.
