INSET Workshop – Basic Child Protection

We are delighted to offer this workshop by Kerry Yelland.

Kerry is an Educational Welfare Officer with the Devon Learning and Development Partnership.

Date. Wednesday 7th March 2012 from 3.45 for coffee for a 4.00pm start. Finish at 5.30/5.45.

Cost. This is free of charge.

Intended for. All primary practitioners, anyone who works in a primary setting with responsibility for safeguarding children.

Key Stage/Phase. Primary

Workshop overview. This workshop will help primary practitioners to:

  • Recognise their role in safeguarding children
  • Define different categories of child abuse
  • Know how to respond to child welfare concerns
