Join the Co-op Green Schools movement

The Co-operative  is offering schools with pupils aged between 5 and 16 a number of free Green Schools Revolution resources.

Put together by leading educationalists, they focus on the hot sustainability topics of energy, water and healthy living. They also cover a broad range of curriculum subjects, from science, geography and maths to literacy and art.

Resources are curriculum focused and carefully put together so you get the best in lesson plans, whole school activities, trips, games, puzzles, quizzes and the chance to show off your green credentials in their  Green Schools Revolution Week in March 2012.

    Hi all,

I am working with staff and pupils to improve the learning and play potential of the school grounds at Oaklands Park. I am developing relationships with with organisations like the RSPB, Woodland Trust and the Teignbridge Rangers on projects within school.

Oaklands Park is registered and starting to work towards the national Eco-Schools Award.

Good to see the DLP supporting things like the Green Schools initative to help respond to sustainability issues in schools – got to be a good thing.

    Hi Adam
great to hear how much Oaklands Park is already doing for the environment, it would be good to have a bit more information and maybe a couple of photos to show everyone on this website?
