Kenns Comic Relief Bake Off!

Kenn Primary School’s Comic Relief Bake Off was a tremendous success.

The judging was extremely difficult but the main focus was on cakes that best captured the spirit of Red Nose Day!

All pupils that participated are to be praised for their imagination and creativity.

The cakes were sold at the end of the day all adding to our total of £241.10 including the sale of red noses!

The winners in each year group receiving an Easter egg prize were:

Foundation: Miriam, Y1: Phoebe R. Y2: Cara. Y3: Ben H. Y4: Jacob H. Y5: Lucy A. Y6: Daniel.

As well as the cake competition the whole school turned out in various shades of Red. Why not have a look at our photo’s and slideshow.

This is Class 1.

They learnt about a little girl from Kenya called Ronika. They measured out her house and imagined what it would be like to live in such a small home. Where would they sleep? Where would they cook? Where would they relax? They then drew pictures of things they would like to put in Rinika’s new home.
