Literacy Inset – Grammar & Punctuation at KS2 with Anne Harvey
This Literacy workshop is provided by Anne Harvey from the highly acclaimed Somerset Literacy Network.
This course is aimed at teachers and teaching assistants who would like to strengthen their knowledge of English grammar and explore how this can be applied across all aspects of the teaching of English in the 2104 National Curriculum.
- Word classes: the power of words
- Sentences: the building blocks of writing
- Punctuation: make your meaning clear
There will be discussion of the suggested approach for the effective teaching of grammar. Practical activities to enhance children’s experience, understanding and so command of the English language will be shared.
